Preliminary - Character profiles

as a group we came up with the chracters and i wrote up the short overveiw of each, however tom went away and expanded on the description of each.

Character profiles

Holly

Holly is a single mother of about 25. She has been convinced and bullied into coming to this event by her friends. She is of average height, blonde hair, attractive. Casually dressed, she is attending the ‘single parents speed dating evening’ in search of love. She is perfectly normal and bemused and bewildered at the speed daters she sees throughout the evening. She becomes increasingly frustrated, sarcastic and angry before storming out.

Derrick

Derrick is a single parent of about 45. His interests include recreational drugs, the Jeremy Kyle show, looking after his 14 cats and eating his favourite snack ‘Go Cat’. He wears a leather jacket, comb over, chords, large square glasses and has a large black moustache. He has the air of a paedophile. He is looking for love, and tries to woe Holly.


Brackus

There is only one way to describe Brackus: Badman. He is sporting a 80s tracksuit, cheap jewellery and a lavish hairstyle achieved only through considerable amounts of Brylcream. He lives on the local Oxmoor council estate, but his interests include baking fudge and desperate housewives. He is on the hunt for ‘fresh pussy’.


Gary and Steve

Gary and Steve are twenty two year old conjoined twins (non identical). They has similar interests and have two children, also conjoined (so you could count that as one, but it is frowned upon to do so). They are looking for love, as Gary’s wife left him, after 2 years on finding out that he was a conjoined twin.

Gerald

Gerald is a handsome, charming, single parent of twenty six. He lives a normal life, after his wife left him for his best friend (a seven foot black man). There is only one problem with Gerald’s normality: he has a three foot long lizard tongue (which his ex wife loved, but not as much as basketball players, evidently).

Harry

Harry Potter is a thirty seven year old wizard. He is going through a rough patch in his career- Ginny has run off with Dean Thomas and their kids, and his short lived famed through his defeat of the most evil dark wizard of all time, Voldemort, is long since passed. He has fallen into depression, and taken to Cheering Charms to get him through the day. His fame has made him delusional and he thinks of himself as a ‘ladies man’.
